anyone know what my chances are of getting into SLO?

i am currently a junior in hs and my gpa is 3.5 and i got a 1320 on the SAT. i am taking the ap compsci test this may. i really want to go to this school.

i also wanted to know if my freshman and senior grades would count in my gpa. thanks.

Are you worried with what you currently have? I would be satisfied with your g.p.a. and SAT scores. Your freshman grade will not be included with the over gpa but your senior grades will. Cal State universities does not include credits/grades earned from art(?), physical education, teachers assistant, and few more extraneous course.

The average incoming GPA for a CS major at Cal Poly SLO from high school is 3.92. You're in the ballpark, but it may be close. You should look at the admitted student profile at calpoly.edu.
