Question Adding classes

I'm a new transfer student for this fall. I need the information for adding classes when your total units is over 16 units during registration. I am currently I'm at 13 units, because one of the classes is a 5 unit course. I want one more class, but the system won't allow me. How do I add one more class?

Chris

or go talk with your advisor. He/She may approve you to take up to 20 units.

Word of advice... 13 is good enough for the first quarter. Try 16+ in Winter if you think you can handle it. I regret taking 15 units in my first quarter

Bronco, thanks for the tip. I will just take just 3 classes the first semester just to see how I do. I'll take more units in the later semester so I can get on track. This will also give me the opportunity to try and join in some clubs, while my work load isn't so heavy.

Never take less than 12 units or you'll have too much free time (unless you plan to work).

oh, and you should take a KIN (Kineseology?) class if you want to release some stress. They are physical education classes that just cost 1 unit.
