about time

The most anticipated moment in Cal Poly Pomona history finally occured. The opening of the parking structure in parking lot F.

All I got to say is about (insert what ever you please) time. I mean two years of park ing hell it better be worth the wait. Hopefully everybody decide to park in the structure and leave all the spots outside open. I know this celebration will not last long because more students will be coming next year, and parking will be horrible again next school year, but I can celebrate for the last month the availabilty of more parking spots. Like today I got a good parking spot arriving late for class in parking lot J, Hopefully it will be the same tommorrow.

Good to know! The parking lot really needed an expansion and who knows, even the additional parkings might not be enough three to five years from now. The number of college bounds are increasing every year at Cal Poly!

Does anyone know if there will be a security/surveillance system set up in the new parking lots?

this is a bummer for all of us who are graduating seniors, but then the seniors a couple of years ago paid for the student union and left before that one opened. i get a couple of weeks in it anyway.

again, old timer's view, but from a university point of view, the opening of the CLA complex might be the biggest event. from a student point of view, well...you can't argue about parking being high on the list.

sorry you graduating seniors only get about two weeks worth, xiaoxue. you paid for the next generation.
