![]() | 2007- 2008 basketball schedule Well I got some dates on some of the coference games this season from other school website. @UCSB November 15 ( yes its a regular season game not a exhibition. I smell an upset of a div 2 beating a div 1 team and they schedule Pomona as their home opener it will suck to lose the home opener especially to a division II team). San Fransico November 30 ( conference opener) Monterey Bay December 1 San Bernardino Jan 16 ( do not know where but some time that week @UCSD Jan 18 Humboldt Jan 25 ( wont be there for the game because I will be in Vegas for my 21st birthday and wont be surprise if its a pack the gym night)Sonoma Jan 26( wont be there because of above) @Monterey Bay Feburary 1 @San Fransico Feburary 2 San Bernardino Feburary 21( do not know the location) UCSD Feburary 23 @Sonoma FEb 28 @ Humboldt Feb 29 ( regular season finale and possibility of being the game that deicde the regular season champs) I will update when I find some dates or when the athlethic office release the schedule. If anybody have any info feel free to share. I wonder if we will have a div 1 exhibition opponent since we play one in the regular season. |

![]() | if that the truth we play SLO I want to be there. I wont be surprise to hear if its closed game. It might be bad to hear that SLO lose to less recognized Cal Poly. Can you reveal who you heard it from? |

![]() | i heard it too, and from one of the players. everybody will just wear practice jerseys. i noticed that the mustangs have posted their schedule beginning with a scheduled exhibition against CSUS, aka scott peterson state college. i think bromley is a coward from not calling our gig an exhibition too. |

![]() | well we got the match up that alot of Pomona fans wanted to see and now we will not be able to watch the game. I guess Bromley realized that if they lose which Bromley thinks is a good possibility it would be embarasment to the program who look to be on the way up again. I think it would be a big deal up in SLO if they lost. I remember posting an article a couple of months ago on how upset they were when the two teams was confused. Imagine what might happen if they lost. |

![]() | Here is the regular season schedule @UCSB November 15 @Vanguard November 20 San Francisco November 30 Monterey Bay December 1 Western Washington @ Vegas December 18 Central Washington@ Vegas December 19 Le Moyne DEC 30 Dominguez hills Jan 4 Cal State LA Jan 5 @Chico ST Jan 11 @ Stanislaus Jan 12 San Bernardino Jan 16 @UCSD Jan 18 Humboldt Jan 25 Sonoma Jan 26 @Monterey Bay February 1 @San Francisco February 2 @Cal State LA Feb 8 @ Cal state Dominguez Hills Feb 8 Stanislaus Feb 15 Chico Feb 16 @San Bernardino February 21 UCSD February 23 @Sonoma Feb 28 @ Humboldt Feb 29 CCAA tournament first round March 4 CCAA tournament semis(@SB) March 7 CCAA tournament finals(@SB) March 8 I was off two game last year hopefully I will only be off by one this year. I think the Broncos will win the CCAA reuglar championship with a record of 21-4 with loses to UCSB, @Chico. @ UCSD, and @Humboldt. I think the broncos have a great chance against UCSB, and I know they can do it, which makes it hard for me as marking it down as a L. Humboldt and chico are the second and third best team in the conference and it will be toughes beating them at there place. UCSD will probally be a defensive minded team and this game is a sandwich game that the Broncos might lose with the broncos playing San Bernardino and HUmboldt before and after. I think this year the broncos will host regionals and make a trip to Boston for the third time this decade. My prediction for Conference standing at the end of the year. 1. Cal Poly Pomona 2. Humboldt ST 3. Chico ST 4. Cal state san Bernardino 5. UCSD 6. Cal State LA 7. CAl State dominguez hills 8. Cal state stanislaus 9. Cal state monterey Bay 10. SF state |

![]() | lakdod, you'll be interested to know that our friends the coyotes don't open with pac ten arizona state this year, but they do open the season at pauley pavilion on nov. 12. somehow they talked their way into UCLA's season opening tournament against weber state, which won the big sky tournament and went dancing last year. if they win, they will play the bruins; if they lose they get youngstown state. jeff oliver is a very shrewd coach to pull this one off. and he could get a split over there in the process. |

![]() | I knew that for 2 weeks Those games are actual exhibition games but still a good test for the coyotes. They do not open the season at Pauley, San Bernardino have that inagural disney tournament in Anahiem convention center. There first game in the tournamnet on Nov 2 Right now San Bernardino is a wait and see team because they have so many transfer and we do not know how good they are going to be. |

![]() | some more tidbits about the OOC sked for the CCAA: the jacks open against the afghanistani national team. any taliban in the lineup? few other teams have regular season games against DI teams like our opener with the gauchos. the tritons play at san diego state and the warriors are at nevada. those are two very tough DI programs and should be blowouts. and the yotes have the most intriguing schedule between the disney classic and the tournament at pauley. they also host the conference tournament. |

![]() | I think the Broncos set up the idea schedule this year because last year we had a tough exhibition schedule. Yes it help the broncos to a good start, but at the end of the season they were not the same team. Hopefully with only one exhibition season the Broncos wont be as worn out near the end of the season. Of course they have alot more depth in all of position than last year. I actually think the broncos are 2 deep in each position which is a scarry thought. Man on paper that looks like one good line up. C Daniels/Neveu/Krause PF Gordon/Forelli/tobias SF Swift/Booker- probally can flipflop SG Anglo/Harris/ PG Collins/Watters |

![]() | yes, but that said i am not optimistic about the broncos chances up at the thunderdome for the opener. the gauchos will have played NINE games by that time, including their last game against stanford. our one exhibition by comparison won't develop much endurance. then there is the size factor. UCSB has SEVEN guys 6-8 or bigger and none are string beans like tobias. chris devine is back and he likely will dominate or at least get baby shaq in big foul trouble early. at least cecil brown is gone from their ranks--he was the dude that saved the upset by sonoma state with a buzzer beating trey to win by one--but that kid powell is a very tough customer who will keep angelo busy. i only hope we can keep it close. broncos need to limit turnovers to less than six to have a chance. i wonder....perhaps the SLO scrimmage is on a central coast road trip that begins at SLO and ends at SB? |

![]() | Here one early pre season top 25 rankings out and no Cal Poly Pomona on it. Of course this is preseason but I guess the Broncos will be flying under the radar again nationally. Humboldt is rank pretty high, and I think the Broncos are as a good maybe better than Humboldt on paper. There is only two west school team in the poll. Again no love for teams out west. Division II Bulletin Top 25: 1. Winona State 2. Bentley 3. Grand Valley State 4. Northwest Missouri 5. Wingate 6. Humboldt State 7. Findlay 8. Barton 9. Augusta State 10. Southern Indiana 11. Alderson-Broaddus 12. Virginia Union 13. Alaska Anchorage 14. St. Rose 15. Montevallo 16. South Dakota 17. West Virginia State 18. Central Oklahoma 19. Drury 20. Metro State 21. California 22. Henderson State 23. West Texas A&M 24. Rollins 25. Emporia State |
