I am 75% sure that I am planning on attending the conference with my cousin. We are not sure where we are going to make a reservation to stay and for how long. I don't think we will stay until Sunday.

We might stay together with SCETA (Southern Calfornia Engineering Technologists Association) club but that is not confirmed.
Carpooling is available.

This is my first time attending the convention so you are not alone. If you like to experience the whole business world, this is your time. Join us.

Welcome to the forums keithcal.
Do you live in the Alamitos dorm?

I was planning on joining SCETA (Southern California Engineering Technologists Association) for the conference trip but I am not too sure now. I need to get in contact with ak since he is an active member of SCETA. He probably can provide you with details regarding SCETA.

$30 for lodging plus gas money is very fair for a tight budget.

The conference itself goes from Thursday, January 8th through Sunday, January 11th. I'm going with SCETA which is either leaving Friday afternoon or Saturday morning so as not to interfere with classes.
