what up people from calpoly forums

Hey, this is Jay, I'm a new member, I find this page interesting, and I like it. My major is ChE, and I am freshmen. I like boxing, but it seems that there is no boxing around here, I'm guessing cuz I'm not from here, I'm from Imperial Valley. Well, this is me.

Welcome to the Cal Poly Forums Jay.
Glad that you like the board. You like to box or just watching?

Benji, there is an Edwards Cinema if you take the 10 West from Cal Poly Pomona. You can notice it right away on the left side of the freeway. Forgot the name of the exit.

Well, Imperial Valley is located on the east side of San Diego (about 1 hour and 25 minutes), and close to the border of Arizona and Mexico. I do like to practice box, I was a boxer down at Imperial Valley, also I like to watch it.

Welcome to the board Jay. Why didn't you attend UCSD? Great school!

Dude, I didnt went to UCSD because I like the ratio of teacher-student in CPP, also because of the tuition. This Chemical engineering major is tough, but with struggle and dedication you can reach everything you want to.

Welcome Jay.
Some classes at UC schools do get overcrowded. But it is only for general education course.

The chemical and materials department is pretty small, I like it, since the class is kind of hard, so you can get help with the teacher. I do dorm here, you are rigth.
