When do you usually receive the admissions letter and are you starting in Winter quarter?

| Fire-breather | You know in those movies where the prospective collegian is staring at the envelope from the university, afraid to open it for what it might say? I'm sitting here going, "Dude! If you got accepted they send you an admissions PACKAGE! If you're holding a standard envelope then it's a rejection letter. Burn it!" I burned mine. Can you tell I don't take rejection well? |

![]() | Good Luck! Welcome to Cal Poly Pomona! I hope you like the school and get involve. As a former frl major, I can give you some personal advice. Frankly, I would not take Dr.Carney. He has a very negative attitude and it's not a friendly professor to approach. Basically, if you want to take him, don't do it on your first quarter. If you do, you will probably be dissapointed about the department. You will have three options as to concentrations. I think the business law or contract management are the best options for would be pre-law students or students who like law. The department has a great legal staff. Dr. Enders is a cool guy with a lot of experience. He is tough, but he is fair and fun to have as a professor. Other lawyers at the department are great. Basically, I have no complaints about the law department in the frl department. Anyway, it's up to you. Once again welcome to Cal Poly Pomona! |

![]() | True, Professor Young is also a great lawyer who like Enders, has government experience. My personal opinion, is that they are probably the most experience lawyers who are full time. They are also the toughest, but they are fun and active in teaching. |
