I run the website. I know, big whoop-dee-doo. So anyway, the guys who run this forum were nice enough to grant me my own forum so we all can discuss GoodBadTenured.com -- maybe talk about problems we've found, experiences we've had, gripes about our teachers, whatever you wanna chat about.

I think it would be better to rant about it in the message board, then write an objective review on the website. Don't you think so? Anyway, feel free to drop by the Good Bad Tenured forum. I'm usually there Monday - Friday.

Thanks for the encouragement! I just want my "kids" to have some of the things I didn't have when I was growing up. Like teacher reviews!

I apologize for the downtime. My office had to relocate, which includes relocating all our servers. The box that GBT is hosted on is considered "non-essential" and therefore doesn't get priority in getting it back into working condition. I hope to get it back up this week.

All right guys, during my lunch break today I snuck into the server room and got my server onto the new network. After fixing all the DNS entries (we had to change our IP address, what a pain in the ass!) the site seems to be working now.

If it isn't, try pinging the site. (Open a Command Prompt and type "ping www.goodbadtenured.c om") If it resolves to a 208 address it's old. You'll need to refresh it by typing "ipconfig /flushdns" at the command prompt. It should resolve to 66.15.144.111 after that and start working in a browser.

King? Aaah! Thank you very much for a great job you did on goodbadtenured.com! You were a revolutionary leader that has helped thousands of students.

In fact, the change is rather common conversation within classrooms. Some people were very attached to goodbadtenured, I at times feel bad for replacing something that has helped so many.

I am sure, everyone will remember your good work! Thank you!

Well, "replacing" is one way of looking at it, but I would call it "augmenting" since you have the basic features I had, plus so much more. People tend to resist change, but they'll soon grow attached to all the new things they are able to do.
