| Newcomer | Howdy I'm Kevan, and i'm a Freshman CS major at CPP, coming from Danville (east SF Bay Area). I'm looking foward to the start of school. I found this forum when I was touring CPP (someone set the homepage at one of the free terminals in the student center type thing to this ), and I figured I might as well sign up.I do have a couple question. How safe are the parking lots for residents? Do you know anyone who has had their car broken into for a stereo or something that isn't left on the seat? I'm a bit worried about that, as my car has always lived in a nice secure garage. Also, does the campus wireless network extend to the dorms? Thanks! ![]() |

![]() | Howdy Kevan. Remember to keep detach your stereo and valuables out of sight and out of mind. Don't even leave your cd collections visible in the seat. If you park near the sky tower, you should be somewhat fine. No ideea about the wireless network. |

![]() | Welcome to the board. First time meeting a person named "Kevan." Never leave any tangible items where it is visible. Your alarm will do no good. Goood idea to park your car near the curb where a lot of students walk by. No wireless access point anywhere in the residence.
