![]() | Hi,I read that you are going to summer advising on July 20th. What's that exactly? What will you do there? I heard that one gets relevant information there. Is it possible that you could give me some of these important information? That would be great! ![]() |

| Active Member | yea, of course! summer advising is just an additional help for registering classes. but i heard if can't go, it's not too bad because you can just go to polyratings.com and find out which professors u should take and look at the fall 2005 schedule to pick out your classes. i already planned a schedule, but not sure if i can really get it. i hope i can..anyways, i'll tell u more about it after july 20th! |

![]() | Hi! I think, I'm taking one Finance course, one Human Ressource Management course and one Management course. I have to ask my Professors at my University which courses they might accept for my main study period. Which courses will you take? How was your summer advising? |

| Active Member | ohh that's cool. summer advising was useless, in my opinion...because everything my advisor told me, i read it online...so i knew everything already, only i wasted 85 bucks for that. but i guess it was so fun just go there to hang out with my friend and walk around campus again. it was soooo beautiful anyways, yea if u go to POWER (poly web registration) website, it'll tell u everything. i'm planning to take 17 units which is more than what freshmen should take in their first quarter of college. i'm planning to take english, calc I, intro to materials eng. , general chem and elementary german. ehh i hope this won't kill me. lol |

![]() | Thanks for your information! I'm really looking forward to see the campus and everything. There is no campus at my University. The departments are scattered all over the town, because the University was founded in 1477 and grew during the centuries.Oh, you're taking German! That's great! Tell me if you'd like to practice! And one more question: What is the weather like in California? (In Germany it's rainy and about 68° - it's so cold) |

Summer is the best in California...in the morning it can be from 80 degrees to the upper 90 degrees depending on the area (coastal or inland). Summer nights are even better...for example last night the temperature was in the low 70s past mid-night...just perfect for driving w/ the top down... By the way, I'm referring to Southern California...Norther n California (ex. San Francisco) is completely different...the temperature is usually in the upper 70s in the morning and gets cold night...

| Active Member | don't worry, san luis obispo has the best weather (from what i've heard). it's always like 80 or so degrees, so it's not too hot/cold. my friend that's attending summer session right now said he loves it there, both the campus and weather...lol basically everything hahah. we're gonna have lots of fun there! i can't wait! wow your university was established in 1477?! that's sooo cool ohh yea, i definitely need practice in german...hehe i'd have to review all over again since i haven't practiced in 2 years (my stupid high school cancelled it...) anyways, ask me if u have any questions![]() |
