![]() | Hello, Starting in Fall 2005 I am going to be starting in the Fall Quarter this year and I had some questions, which led me to this site. Currently, I am a Physics major and was the only Physics major at the last Orientation session (14th/15th) haha. I am going to be taking (so far) MAT 114, CHM 121+121L, and ENG 104. Are there any professors that teach horribly? I want professors who are good teachers and cover a lot of material without the work-load getting out of control. I like to learn from every class that I take. If the class is going to be a easy breeze-through, then it is a waste of my time. This probably means that the class will be "hard." That is fine, because I am going to be kind of a school-boy kind of guy. Any professor reviews I should know of? I wanted to take an Introduction to Engineering course (I think it's EGR 120) but it seemingly doesn't count for GEs or anything for that matter nor is it even being offered for Fall...which is confusing...does it mean that it may be offered during another quarter or something? I don't want to waste my time waiting for the class. Can anybody help me out? I am going to be commuting ~32 miles from Glendale, CA to Pomona through the 134-E, then 210-E and finally, 57-S. Probably going to take my classes in the morning and stay throughout the day, finishing all my homework and other work, attending clubs, chilling with people, and just plain having fun (which probably includes playing CS at "LAN-parties" and other fun stuff). Going to do classes in the morning to have the whole anti-traffic thing where the traffic is always on the other side of the freeway =P. |

![]() | First off, welcome to the forum xcron. For professor evaluation, you should visit GradeCalPoly.com to search for your classes. Most of the evaluations should help you select the professors for your course. Wish you the best luck at your new year at Cal Poly Pomona. |
