| Newcomer | Hello fellow Broncos Hey, how you all doing? I am a Landscape Architecture transfer student, who just started this quarter. I'm relatively familiar with college ins and outs. I went to a few JCs before I came to Cal Poly, and must say that I'm relatively happy with the way things are going so far. I offer my experience to younger students still trying to figure it all out, and am looking forward to sharing experience with fellow students, particularly LA majors. Okay.. that was a little bland... sounded like a resume. Dig Linkin Park, Our Lady Peace, Gorillaz, D12. I know where all the good dim sum places are near campus. I have a little dog that pretty freakin' cool. Lawrence |

Either lunch or dinner is all-you-can-eat Mongolian beef! I haven't been there for a long time so I don't know the direction. Welcome fellow Bronco. | |

| Newcomer | Dim Sum and Mandarin The closest Dim Sum is House of Louie in Walnut. To get there get on Grand (that street that runs alongside Mt. Sac) and go back the 10 freeway. It's on the right hand side a block past the freeway. So far the best Mandarin place I've been to within driving range is Wang's Chinese Palance in Monrovia. To get there, take the 10 to the 605 to the 210 or the 57 to the 210. Take the 210 West towards LA. Exit on Myrtle Avenue and turn left onto Myrtle. Go up about four blocks and make a right on Colorado and park in the Public Parking. Wang's is a block above Colorado on Myrtle on the left. Myrtle is also a great place for movies, BBQ, Empanadas, and lots of other cool stuff. Lawrence |

| Newcomer | Concerning LA degree Quite honestly, I've just started the major. I know that there's going to be a lot of work in the next few years, but I've managed to network with a really good bunch of serious students, so I feel that I will succeed. But that's what needed for any major, in my opinion. Lawrence |
