| Newcomer | Hello everybody! I want to attend CalPoly SLO, but I'm unsure of it because of the requirements for out of state students to get accepeted into CalPoly. I have a 3.7 weighted, and a 3.5 unweigted GPA. I haven't taken the SAT's yet, but I plan to in June (Hoping to score around the 1200-1300 range). I'm also in National Honor Society. I'm originally from SLO, but moved to Las Vegas. What do you guy's think? ![]() |

![]() | I would think that your g.p.a. and SAT score between 1200 to 1300 would qualify you to San Luis Obispo. What I would do is talk to your college counselor in your high school and also check out the latest college review (Princeton Review?). College reviews tell the average acceptance rate and applicants received. Shows the average SAT scores and GPA of the high school applicants and lot of information that can help you out. Good luck. BTW, computer engineering and electrical engineering is an impact major in SLO, right?
