New Feature: Finals Schedule

Everybody knows how confusing it sometimes is to convert your schedule to your final schedule, so I added the feature for GradeCalPoly.com to do it for you. It is available in the schedule finder, and the personal schedule storage functions. Enjoy.

Note: There may be errors, in fact I found some duplicate entries on the csupomona.edu website.

Another Note: It was suggested I believe by Zoe, that I provide some way of feedback for the instructors, although I liked the idea greatly and still do I have decided it is in the best interest of the website and the students to not implement it. In a perfect world, it would be very ideal to hear both sides of view. Not only am i skeptical of how many teachers will use such a feature, but more importantly it will change the way students view the website. It is currently a refuge for student opinon, allowing teachers in may take away some of the safety that they feel.

It really is a trade off, but all things considered I do not think the feature is worth it; however if there is a strong student (or teacher) consenseus the other way I would be willing to do it. I will perhaps soon add a "polling" feature to the website, to easily gather more student opinon. Anyway! Enjoy!

Another New Feature: Polling. I will now from time to time poll key questions to the future of GradeCalPoly.com to the students. These polls can be answered now on any page of gradecalpoly.com, please take the time to check out and give your opinon on the poll:

"Should teachers be allowed to respond to comments on this website?"

Hmm.. i don't like the way this current poll is going as of yet. 112 students voted thus far, straight down the middle. 50%, 50%. Amazing almost if you ask me. I think an inquiry into the professors opinons will be in order in fall quarter if this trend continues. Feedback welcome.

Small enhancement, no other place to put it.

-The book finder now is 100% automated and is thus much better. Book prices are updated every 72 hours, and the school book list is verified the same.

-Fall 2005 schedule and book list is up.
