why not just advertise polyratings? they have some good services and most everyone uses it. i mean, why a new ratings site? i mean, as far as i can tell, goodbadtenured was set up to get donations through amazon. why fight goliath?

For your information this isn't a new ratings site. I've been running it since 1997. And no I didn't set this up just to get money. It would be nice if people actually did donate, but I get maybe two freaking dollars a year through Amazon. A tiny bit of compensation for all the time it takes to maintain the site would be nice. But did I shut down the site just because I wasn't making money? NO. I didn't create this site to make money, I did it to help people. And if you think it's stupid then it's your prerogative to not use my site.

Well I take offense when people suggest that the sole purpose of my site is to gather donations.

Polyratings is a professor evaluation/rating website that serves the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo students. The Good Bad Tenured website serves the Cal Poly Pomona students. A HUGE difference there so no need to compare.

Each site serves its own purpose and does a very good job at serving the students.
