Post Will Smith's IRobot movie vs. The Matrix

Can you guys imagine Neo, the one, to be a brotha'? Just imagine that, the one, the savior, the all-mighty, would have been a black guy?

And he turned down the role of Neo for WWW, wild wild west. I think all of Smith's movies do not even compare to the success of the Matrix alone.

In what planet was he in when he said no to the Wachosky brothers?

This is true, but look at the long term success of wild west films vs. sci fi hehe Will went with the safe bet.

Anyway how could he have known what he was giving up. Everyone went nuts over the movie for the ground breaking special effects. The acting wasn't really that great.

Thumbs up

It's true, the Matrix took box-office records by attracting audiences with its special effects.

But think about it, Neo a black guy?

It's like making "The Passion of the Christ" with Chris Rock as Jesus.

hahah, No I could see Will Smith playing Neo. Maybe even a better Neo. He would probably try and add comedy to the mix though that might disrupt the flow that I’m used to when watching Matrix movies.

I'm lost, Will Smith had the chance to play as Neo but turned down and Keanu Reeves took the spot?
I also can't see Will Smith playing as Neo. It just wouldn't be the same.

will smith's face has a comical look and wouldn't be good as NEO. Neo needs to be an uptight person like Keanu.

I, robot was better than ID. ID was stupid, ridiculous and superficial. I, Robot actually had a good storyline.

ID wasn't so bad, it was just a summer flick. The only bad parts of the movie would be the President jumping in a fighter jet and the whole computer virus thing on the alien's computer network.

Today, the storyline of ID may seem superficial compared to today's flick but cmon, ID was the hot summer blockbuster. Haven't seen i,robot but man-made robots having a mind on their own, doesn't that sound too familiar and repetitive? You be the judge.
