![]() | Can you guys imagine Neo, the one, to be a brotha'? Just imagine that, the one, the savior, the all-mighty, would have been a black guy? And he turned down the role of Neo for WWW, wild wild west. I think all of Smith's movies do not even compare to the success of the Matrix alone. In what planet was he in when he said no to the Wachosky brothers? |

| Active Member | This is true, but look at the long term success of wild west films vs. sci fi hehe Will went with the safe bet. Anyway how could he have known what he was giving up. Everyone went nuts over the movie for the ground breaking special effects. The acting wasn't really that great. |

![]() | I'm lost, Will Smith had the chance to play as Neo but turned down and Keanu Reeves took the spot? I also can't see Will Smith playing as Neo. It just wouldn't be the same.
