Where to stay?

Hi all!!
I will be transferring to CPP this Winter quarter. So I'm trying to look for a safe area to live in since I heard Pomona is not so good a community. I also don't wanna stay in dorm. Please give me some ideas. In what cities I can stay? close to the school, safe, but not to expensive. Thank you in advance

I know Walnut and Claremont are good areas. They are building more student housing that are more like apartment than dorms, they are pretty much located on campus, so yo might want to consider that also. It will save you gas and give you access to all the school activities.. not a bad deal

I would also recomend living in the suites or even the village on campus. It is easier to meet people there and convient. pomona is not a great area but the school is almost like its not in the pomona. It located in the western edge of Pomona so areas like Diamond Bar and Walnut are near the campus.

Both the suites and the village are convenient for the commute (park your car at the village and ride your bike) and very safe. It is preferred over the nearby apartment complexes.
