| Fire-breather | Are you wearing your "I Voted" sticker? It was nice, my boss actually told everyone it was ok to come in late so you could have time to cast your vote in the morning. There was actually a line to get in too. I hope the turnout is as good everywhere else. Despite the good turnout in my area, I'm worried about this new "dot" voting system. It seems to be worse than the chads! The lady who was showing everyone how it worked said she got there late, so the first hour had a lot of ballots that had no dots! I was like "WHAT???" These people are casting blank votes?? And others were trying to poke holes into their ballot with the little inker. Others were pressing but no ink came out. You have to press hard, then kind of twirl it in a circle to get the best results. At least that's what I found during my voting. The poll workers were just telling people to "press really hard" and make sure the dots appeared. This is NOT easier than the chad system! It's too easy to have a malfunctioning inker invalidate many votes. And older voters may not be able to press that hard. Who came up with the silly system anyway?? Republicans? |

| Fire-breather | Some very interesting poll data broken down by various classifications can be found here: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pag.../epolls.0.html Nader seems to be consistently grabbing only 1% of the vote, but it's still very very close between the other two. |

![]() | I'm currently wearing my mini-sticker. ![]() I checked out the cnn link and the percentage of vote by race and gender is different from what I've seen in ABC news television. In fact, lot of the # of the exit polls were different across the news broadcasts. Go Kerry! (*crosses both fingers tightly) |

![]() | That site is a bit behind compared to other websites. I prefer CNN myself. If Bush wins Ohio, I guess the presidential race is over. I'm very impressed with California = "0" votes for Ralph Nader. ![]() Is funny how one calls themselve a Democrat or a Republican and they vote for the opponent party and vice versa (according to the Exit Polls "Vote by Party ID".
