Thumbs down Do YOU watch FOX News?

Has anyone heard about this new documentary that came out called "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's war on journalism." It's basically about how Fox news sensationalizes news and puts a "right-wing" spin on their content.

Ladies and gentlemen, for your information, Fox news is not journalism. It's a terrible example of what real journalist do around the world and Fox is putting a terrible stigma on the trade.

Considering most of the media leans to the left, at least Fox news shows the other side.

Most people get into the news media to "make the world a better place" but ask yourself, better how, and for who?

Well, I guess that's the difference between you and me. I know what it's like in a newsroom, a real newsroom, and you don't. People outside a newspaper are always hasty at judging newspapers without even having a bit of knowledge on how the media work.

Yes, it's true that journalism started out in the streets by people who wanted to publish information with biased tendencies. But the trade has evolved so much today that we have ethic groups that are always watching journalists and their actions. You should look into this and find out for yourself instead of making hasty generalized accusations. Look up in www.poynter.org or the www.asne.org. There are plenty of resource materials there to inform you about today's media.

FOX is not a news network that presents the "other" side of the "story" as you might think of it. They polish coverage with a "right-wing" slant, not a "conservative" slant. PBS is conservative enough and they're completely independent.
