Question UCLA Powell Library Incident: Student Got Tazered

During the weekend, I heard and also read about hte UCLA Powell library incident where a student got tazered a total of five times from the UC police officer. Watch the video, google online, and read both the Daily Bruin and the article on UCLA News.

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

What are your reactions? Was the officer abusing their power or was it the student's fault for not complying with a simple (or not) and direct order?
