Lightbulb In This Thread: Ask Any General Questions

Rather than the ordinary forum games (i.e. "One/Two/Three Word Association" played in most message board, we'll play a "Ask Any General Questions" game.
List them and if you see a question that you know the answer, feel free to reply.
I'll start:

1) Who is the original author/singer of the "What A Wonderful World" song?
2) What is the point of folding (google if necessary)?
3) What are the odds of winning the California Superlotto?
4) What does the number 42 have to do with life?

6) Why is "Ambulance" spelled backward on the front of an ambulance van?
7) Why are all manhole covers round and not square?
8) At the beginning of the show where the theme song is played, the little baby Maggie is scanned at the grocery store. Can you tell me what the scanner says?

I haven't read the book but do you know the story to it?

The 138th Episode Spectacular "revealed" that the cash register says "NRA 4EVER" when Maggie is scanned. This, of course, is just a joke.

If you freeze-frame the show's opening on your VCR or DVD player, you'll see that Maggie "costs" $847.63.

10) I was just wondering why the first person to discover eggs would eat something that came out of a chicken's butt.

11) Where did the saying "kick the bucket," when a person dies, come from?

Many people who commited suicide by hanging themselves stood on a bucket while they put the noose around themselves. They then "kicked the bucket" and died.
