![]() | Take 30 minute quiz, get a free copy of Microsoft Office 2003 standard! I was relayed this info recently: Take the Microsoft Imagine Cup 30 minute IT quiz 1) Go to http://imagine.thespoke.net/ 2) Register/Sign in with .NET Passport and make sure you sign up under Cal Poly Pomona 3) Click on "Team & Event Tools" 4) Click "Take the IT quiz" Also, the first 10,000 students who register and then compete in any invitational will be able to download for free Office 2003 Standard (downloads start April 1st). Also, signing up for Imagine Cup also gives you free theSpoke Premium membership, giving you discounts on stuff like Dell computers as well as the ability to download Visual Studio .Net 2003. So, nothing to lose, you can put that you participated in an IT competition on your resume (great of IT majors), and free software and discounts. |

![]() | Hey everyone, Update: Simply just by registering you also get theSpoke Premium membership for free (meaning discounts on Dell computers and tech books, etc. and a download of Visual Studio .Net 2003 (contains VB.Net, Asp.Net, C#.Net, and more) Team Event Tools is located on the top right on the front page of imaginecup's site or you can use the link here: http://www.thespoke.net/imagine/ic_landingpage.aspx The full details can be found here: http://www.thespoke.net/imagine/premium_promotion.as px As for spam, I don't ever recall receiving information from theSpoke or Imagine Cup because this is an official Microsoft site and as you know, Microsoft is against unauthorized spam. Nevertheless, I respect your concerns about getting spammed but thanks for checking out the site. Oh and thanks for those who signed up! Cal Poly Pomona is #1 in terms of signups in the USA (UC Berkeley is 2nd place the last time i checked and UCLA is like 8th or something. Whoo hoo!) Also, our very own CIS student Steven Luu is #3 in the USA and #28 internationally for the Visual Gaming category. |
