hehe...so, anyone doing anything fun for the summer?

Hey Inge-

I'm actually flying into Berlin and will be covering Berlin and the surrounding area...then I'm going to cover Dusseldorf and the western portion and work my way all the way down south to cover the Neuschwanstein castle...then finally I'm gonna head back to central Germany to cover Munich, Stuttgart, and finally Frankfurt...this is going to the best part of my trip because I'm going to check out the Mercedes-Benz factory and museum in Stuttgart, and the AMG Center in Affalterbach...AND the BEST part...I get to go to the Frankfurt Autoshow! haha...and then I'll be flying back home out of FRA...

Now that's a vacation!
I've been spending way too much money this summer. Been participating in several outdoor activities and retreats. I'm also preparing for the marathon (more of a walkathon ).

Hi krk230,
that sounds great! Will you go to the Oktoberfest, too? It starts on September 17 th. You're right, the part in the south of Germany will be the better one (I'm living near Stuttgart ) And don't forget to buy a Brezl / Brezel at baker, eat a Weißwurst (Bavarian veal sausage) in a beer garden in Munich and eat Maultaschen (Swabian pockets ???) in Stuttgart!
