A: You go to the class, or up to three class sessions and ask the teacher kindly if they have any space for you. Sometimes there is space, sometimes not, sometimes they don't know and make you wait and waste your time. You petition for classes you can't get... or to get a better schedule.

Q: How does Carls Jr consistantly make all its burgers consistantly sloppy and messy with no regionalized training facility?

A: they dont care. They overprice their students and they know that the students will wait whatever time for their burgers. They have no time to be complaining cuz they have to study and go to class.

My previous answer was incorrect. My termionalogy was all mixed up, i was describing late additions to class... which is a rather common prochedure. Where the teacher forces an add.

But the correct termonology; petitioning for a class is to have a different class count for your major. Or to have a class taken at another school count for your major. For instance; PHY131 is a calculus based PHY121 class, so i imagine it would be easy to take PHY131 and petition it to satisfy your PHY121 demand. Sorry for the confusion.
