That's good to know xkai, I can see the science in that. But shouldn't we study yesterday to predict tomorrow? Because isn't it like that Propellerheads song, "It's all just a little bit of history repeating!"

Well...it's more along the lines of studying, for example, current government policies and using those to determine where future policies should go and whatnot.

On the other hand you are quite right, history doesn't die, it's just an endless loop! You can always see the past in the present whether or not those who are the movers and shakers realize how much a parallel it is.

Are you implying that math is a science? Math is not science. Science involves experimentation. Math does not conduct experiments.

Science typically uses math, but that does not mean that everything that uses math is science.
