On the chopper game, how the heck do you play for 772 seconds?!!
The 1st (Swagner) and 2nd (Keng) has similar scores but distinctive time gap.

Good question.

The time length is similar but the scores are wide apart. I need to ask how the scores works.

The score is a factor of the distance covered. The seconds are a factor of how long it took to cover that distance. The flash movie is set to have a certain fps (frames per second) but on a slow computer that fps may not be acheived. Also note that this game is WAY easier on a slow computer because the slower fps gives you more time to react.

In general I think Asteroids is one of the most fair games. Plus I like it a lot.

No, the seconds are the time you played total. Like if you keep click restart then the time will adds up....

That may be true but I am sure the time it takes to cover a certain distance is not constant across all platforms.

I don't think that matters that much as if you raise or drop the height too slow you are still dead. You only have about a second to decide to go up or down.....

NEW CLASSIC GAMES:
Bubble Trouble (Destroy all bubbles by shooting same colored bubbles at them.)
Arkanoid (An Arkanoid game.)
Froggers (Cross unknown perils in this classic title.)
and my favorite PacMan (The yellow blob returns! Eat the pills and jack up your score in this arcade classic.).

Of all the games, Arknoid has the most variance in speed between platforms. I play at home and at school and the school computers are much slower and make it way easier to stay alive longer.

Basically, Arcade games don't work well in flash becasue flash will not drop frames to keep the speed consistant. Finding free games designed in say Java is a much better idea

Yoiu miss my point. The frame rate is set. Once you meet it the game will not go any faster, But the game can go much slower. And not only can this happen...it does. Besides anyone can acheive this affect on any computer of any speed with any overpriced video card by simply temporarily turning off the video acceleration

Eh, no. What I meant was other people can play at school or etc. I only play at home, I mean just look at the time when I set a new record, lol.
