planners, organizers, schedule books

Anyone use an organizer besides the Cal Poly planner? My friend is gonna get me one but I can't decide if I should get one of them leather bound planners (legal notebook size) or not.

Or is it wise to pick up a PDA this Christmas holiday rather than the traditional planner notebook?

I don't really use any type of planner for school. All I use is a traditional calendar to write down important dates (e.g. registration and paying tuition), so I can't really recommend a specific device. The calendar in conjunction with professors syllabi help me remember what I have to do.

Treo 650 is so neat. Has all the functions I would want and more.

I write everything down on my Cal Poly planner. There is plenty of space and few note pages near the back of the planner if you need to jot down more notes.

I use the cp planner for everything, even things outside class. This reminds me I need to pick a new one up soon.
