| Active Member | Places to eat of campus just thought id pass on the info of places my friends and i eat. yes i try everything. in front of mt sac in the center with 7-11, only place ANYONE should be buying Sushi, fresh, good portions, fairly priced. A+++++ teriyaki, ribs, crunchy rolls, etc. Maria's Taco's on holt. If you go past Devry and make a right to get to holt there is a shopping center with a laundry mat, grocery store, a pizza place and Maria's taco. just make a right into it before you hit holt. big burritos, even the hambergers are good. nachos are great, especially the chicken. just pricing on the small tacos are a bit much. A or A- Kwon's - Make a left on holt and go down a mile, mile and a half. On your left hand side you'll see a place with a "Bodega" aka markert place and on one wall youll see KWONS, on the front only says RESTAURANT. its pretty ghetto, right next to Video joint and water place and before a donut shop. This places gets crazy, lots of food, inexpensive and rude ladies placing the orders. hey for 3.75 for chicken fried rice or 5 bux for chow main. i can deal with them A. packed at lunch, these guys make a ton of money. In and Out - 3 in the area, one down golden springs, by Bob's Big Boy, only a drive through. The new one is off the 10 off of grand. or you can go past the Sushi place (on grand in front of Mt Sac) and go through the canyon and keep going down 4 miles or so and go to the old In and Out. its in and out, do i need to grade it? Cantina Express (think thats what its called) on Temple in front of Carl's Jr. Good food, fairly priced, fried chicken lunch is good. B+- A- Continental Burger & Chinese Joint on Diamond Bar Blvd. go south on Diamond Bar Blvd and pass wiener's and kfc and del taco until you get the other carl's jr. make a right at the light, youll see it right next to the chinese joint. another place to eat, but trippy, pepper pork chops and ice tea is great, cheap to eat. just watch out for the chicken feet soup. at continental burger, tons of food, variety, even teriyaki. i like the burgers and corn dogs and the pastrami burger. B+ on the burger joint, B for the chinese joint inexpensive chinese food and pretty decent, BETTER THEN PANDA. a joint next to Washington mutual on Diamond BLVD just past Kmart on your left hand side. Pizza Place inside the Kmart shopping center is good. meatball sandwiches are good too. B+, a bit too rustic inside for me, need to lighten up the place. A few doors down there is a good Japanese place to eat, costs more then the place on grand in front of Mt Sac. good place to take a friend or date to eat. hey they have egg rolls, haha. A If you go south on the 57 and make a left on grand (can also go down diamond bar blvd), there is a very good pizza place in the Alberton's shopping center, games and tvs for sports. A Applebee's down valley view on grand. ribs are the best. El Taco Naza in Baldwin Park. dont remember how to get there, sure one can use yahoo to find it. 1.25 fish tacos, cant beat it, especially the combo they have. A places i didnt like, the sushi place on temple behind the book store, chinese buffet next to subway on temple, sushi on campus, wok place on campus, sandwich place on campus (seen the prices, whack), sizzler on diamond bar. sushi joint next to baskin robbins just past grand, oh never ever buy chicken from them. all for now, haha, hey ive been in the area a long time. |

![]() | I don't really know my way around Pomona. I remember eating at this one Mongolian buffet in Claremont. Yummy. The dinner served at Claremont College (I believe it was the girls' dormitory dining hall) was three times better than the Cal Poly Commons. ![]()

![]() | Albertos in Pomona has the best burritos. I also like the litte chinese tea place on the plaza next the Mt. Sac.(when you see the chevron gas station, you are at the right place. it is right next to the quizno sub) They have great chinese food and the price is reasonable. It's so much better than Panda. In and Out is always good. Man, talking about restaurants, my stomach is making noise~ ![]()
