![]() | Pepsi Lovers? Starting February 1, 2004, every 1 out of 3 Pepsi 20 ounce drinks will have a code for a free iTune download. Buy a 20oz Pepsi, get a winning code, you get to choose any one song and download it for free, using the code provided. Great marketing plan. I'm going to stock up my fridge with Pepsi.

That would be so awesome. I bet you someone will attempt it. But I also bet the Pepsi company has plan for prevention. But who knows. ![]() | |

![]() | Interesting article by Ilene Hoffman http://www.spymac.com/news/index.php?contentid= 42 "While the Internet is abuzz with Pepsi giving away millions of free songs from Apple's iTunes.com music store, I wonder if the real news lies elsewhere. It isn't quite a first for any company to give away millions of free product, McDonald's does it everytime a kid buys a Happy Meal. It isn't quite a big deal for Pepsi to do a major promotion either. It is a serious promotion for Apple to be involved with though. Previously, with the exception of mouse pads, posters, and scattered product given away to Macworld Expo attendees or to potential buyers at store openings, Apple has not participated in as large a venture as this latest promotion. Although it is interesting - that's still not the real news. I think the real story is that the Internet has truly arrived. "
