I once received a snail junk mail from them around the end of a high school year regarding a summer job. I never bothered since it seemed to shady to me.

A quick Google search reveals quite a bit. Click on the cached pages of that Street Cents article, as they are already gone on the actual site. You'll also have to highlight the entire page (Ctrl A) thanks to some retarded webmaster(s). Too bad they don't have the third page cached, either, though the first two pages alone have loads of information.

Oh, and when you're done, click on Similar pages.

I haven't bothered to read all but that is a good example of what a Multi-Level-Marketing is.
Some may call it a scam but nonetheless, it is a job that brings money to some people.
And that is some damn good marketing plan for Cutco.

I've known several older friends who took the part-time job selling Cutco products. Each one of them told me that it is bad business and felt sorry for selling such product at a ridiculous price.
They were just doing it to build experience in their business career.

Heh, I always wondered what they were passing out to students. So I guess the person who is passing out the flyer could be the manager of the office.

Speaking of selling, today at lunch, this bald dude (might be the manager of the apartment or something) was going around in the marketplace, trying to get students to move into the apartments nearby the campus.

Are they even allowed to do that on campus, trying to sell or get renters in their apartment complex?
