In my opinion, this event was much more fun and satisfying than knotts.

The mazes are 15-20 mins long and the lines move extremely fast. Go with someone you don't mind holding hands

I recommend that you do NOT buy the tickets thru ticketmaster because they charge outrageous service fees (last year they wanted $15 EXTRA per ticket). Buy them at the door... there's plenty of space. Get there 2 hours earlier.

Queen Mary's Shipwreck sounds like a great alternative for those who been to Knott's Scary Farm. I haven't gone to either one so I wouldn't mind going either one.

Knotts scary farm = not scary

Shipwreck = terrifying...they actually spent money on some nice props.

i went to shipwreck last year and i am planning to go again this year. definitely better than knott's scary farm! the mazes at knott's are too dam crowded. they have better crowd control at shipwreck. it's a lot better going through an uncrowded maze because you don't know what's ahead. best part of all, shipwreck takes you through the haunted hallways of the queen mary.
