Hi, I am new to Cal Poly!

I just came back from the orientation today and it was hella hot! Dang...they made us park at Lot B and it was friggen FAAAR. No wonder it was free...Anyways I was wondering if Pomona had a hip-hop dance team (i.e. Kabamodern (UCIrvine) and Team Millenium (CSFullerton)). I saw that you guys have a hip-hop class, too bad I couldn't choose it for my advisor said it wasn't under my choices for a GE class...ghey!

You can probably take the class unless you are already registed the full load of 16 units. Other then that, there's nothing stopping you from taking the class.

yeah, but it wouldnt count toward my GE classes, so basically it's a pointless class if i took it

There's nothing wrong taking fun classes. I say it's one of those time gap filler classes. Have a 2-3 hour gap in between classes, might as well do something!

true, right now im facing a dilemma with registering with my sat120 class. they say my EAP (early assesement test thingamabob) wouldn't be vailid to exempt me from taking the ELM anymore being over 10 months old...that's so ghey, now I lost priority registration and must take the test on September 10 and register for late registration...NOOOO OOOOO i wanted an easy teacher...
