Need some help...

Anyone of you guys live around the campus know a pretty big nice plain field (not a park, not next to heavy traffic road, no snake) that I can fly my RC? Looking for a damn field....damn those soccer player at Cal Poly >_<

umm... at that parking lot on top of the hill... where you go up that little path, all the way at the top, make a right... and then you make a left to like some secret building or something... there's a pretty big empty paved area... i know that supposedly service vehicles pass by thru there, but its rare that that happens.

Why not the grass field between the two engineering building.
There are few light poles though.

You can fly your plane out in the soccer fields. Just don't fly it into the soccer players, or the frisbee players. People do it all the time.

The thing is the helicopter is dangerous, 1800 RPM with tip speed about 200 MPH. If something goes wrong and hit someone, I am doomed. That's why I am looking for an empty field...

You just have to drive to Bonelli Park. It is located off of Via Verde off the 57. You may have to pay for parking depending on the season. During the weekends the place is busy but during the week it is empty. You should be able ot find a clearing big enough to fly in.
