![]() | NCAA Division I tournament We need to talk about some basketball before recruiting season started so let talk about the upcoming division I tournament. This give x-man and hall and others a chance to argue of how crappy Fullerton is going to do in the tournament without the mentioning of CPP. I think everybody knows who I will be rooting for to win it all, but just for fun I will post my prediction here. heck if enough of us join in we might have a little contest for bragging rights. As soon as i get back from dropping off my papers I will make my prediction. |

![]() | going out on a limb first, our local teams....starting with the toughest pick... miss valley state gets blown out by the bruins. trojans by seven over the wildcats. titans are game early but fall to the badgers by eleven. and the aztecs lose by six to the gators. and now, going out on a bigger limb.... mount st. marys gets whupped by the tar heels. and d2 west region champ alaska wins and advances to the final four. |

![]() | Props to the State Champions... Hall cant stand women's bball but we need to give props to Mt. SAC womens bball for 3 peating. They won the state championship yet again, 65-57 over Foothill in probably their closest game in 3 years! I dont care what sport that is, winning state championship 3 years in a row is pretty impressive! by the way, their final record is 37-1. CPP needs to get some of those women on our team so we can be a contender and not a pretender...

![]() | okay decided it would be a pain in the butt to right down every single game outcome and prediction so here my things to look out for the next two days. Let me start with the traditional 5-12 upset in the tournament I think there will be two those this year. i like Villanova to upset Clemson and my second will be Cinderella from two years ago George Mason upsetting Norte Dame. The 6-11 upset I also like two to happen Baylor beating Purdue and Kentucky beating Marquette. In the 7-10 I do not know why but I pick 3 with Arizona beating west virginia, Davidson beating Gonzaga, and St mary's beating Miami. Okay teams to watch who can make a run to the final four not top 2 seeds #3 seed Standford. you got the Lopez twins who can cause some big mis match problems. #4 seed Pittsburg- Good fundamental team. Play good defense and just got back thier PG. Dixon was a disciple of Howland. good defense get you far in the tournament. # 7 seed Butler- A team lot of people do not know about. Gave the gators a run for their monay last year. would not want to play them. Teams that would keep first round close but lose. #14 seed Georgia- winning two games in one day and then coming back to win the SEC tournamnet impresive. Will give Xaiver run for the money, but would fall up short. #13 San Diego- WCC conference had some good teams this year which got three teams, but san diego won the conference tournament on their home court. Conneticut is inconsistent, but Conneticut is to big for San diego to handle. #13 Winthrop- washington St like to play a slow down game so it will keep them in the game if they shoot a decent percentage from the field. #14 Cal state Fullerton- Fullerton likes to push the ball up the court while wisconsin prefer a slow down game. Fullerton needs to jump on wisconsin early in order to have a chance because wisconsin plays some good defense as well. Final Four prediction North Carolina, Georgetown, Stanford, and UCLA finals- CBS is dancing around the studios. the two most storied program in college basketball UCLA vs North Carolina champions After its third straight UCLA wins it all and kevin Love is mvp of the tournament. |

![]() | bruins escape the aggies and clear the way to the final four. it was close. i see texas taking memphis down to play the bruins in the semis. carolina should play through on the other side but not sure kansas will survive the 2-3 winner. |

![]() | lakdod finally flubbed a prediction. the hoyas were won one and done. i agree with you, j-man. memphis is horrible from the line and will fall to the longhorns in the regional finals. i think kansas will outlast wisconsin but lose to carolina. sorry, lakdod, but bruins fall to tar heels in finals. as for the titans they were totally outsized by the badgers. when your big man is 6-5 and giving up a half foot of size and skill it's a tough matchup. both of our cal states were out in the first round against big schools from power conferences. |

![]() | i got to admit my brackets really suck this year. I think I was right about one thing conneticut is inconsistent and butler would of been a dangerous team if they got by tennessee. I hope everybody think UCLA will lose because they wont. there offense might not be great, but they know how to play defense and win. I wont be surprise if washington st beats North carolina because this will be the first good defensive team that UNC play all year. Anyways I think UCLA has an easy road to final four, but this is the ncaa tournament anything can happen. Just look as george mason two years ago. |

![]() | hey man, that's like saying anything can happen. give us your picks from the elite eight to the final four. bruins are okay on offense. shipp and a moute just had bad nights. collison and the kid are just plain studs, probably the best in the nation at their positions. |
