| Enthusiast | Movies! So...I'm bored... What movies have you guys seen this summer? I've seen quite a bit so far... Batman Begins - Liked it a lot...the scene w/ the Lamborghini Murcielago was sick (where he pulls up to the valet and steps out of the car w/ the 2 girls...haha)... War of the Worlds - Didn't enjoy the movie so much... Fantastic Four - I went in thinking it would be a horrible movie, but actually turned out to be good...gotta love Jessica Alba... ;p Wedding Crashers - Hilarious Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - I liked that movie...my favorite was the fat German kid...lol...

It ends the same way as the book but what happens to the characters is just bad. Damn you Spielberg. Madagascar - It's OK. I enjoyed Robot a lot more. BeWitched: Sucked. The only reason to watch this movie would be for Will Farrel. But even his part is not worth watching. Fantastic Four: Bad. "Let's not fight!" "No, Let's!". I'm assuming it's not just summer movies we're talking about...*cough*downl oaded*cough* xXx Sequel: Horrible movie. Black lead actor, lets make the movie even more ghetto-er. This movie is so bad that it makes the first one a masterpiece. Which is sad because the first one sucked. Crash: Pretty good movie about racism, assumptions, and misjudgement on groups of people based on ethnicities but the movie is pretty frank about it and almost preaching it. Moral story is... everyone is racist. Man of the House: Bad. I couldn't believe Tommy Lee would go so low. The only reason I watched it was for the chicks in the movie. Hitch: Ok. Kevin James steals the movie with his dance moves. |

![]() | Make that a double for Transporter 2. I loved the first film. Jason Statham is hot, hot hot! But too bad that that cute chick from the first one isn't going to be in this one. It makes me nervous because they are moving Frank to Miami, Fla. (and the last movie that I remember being based in Miami - Bad Boys 2 - was an absolute piece of crap - sad too, because I loved Bad Boys 1) and a former supermodel (Amber Valleta) plays his love interest. It sounds like Luc Besson is setting it up to suck. But you know what - the fight scenes (especially the one in the oil slick) were so good in the first that I am willing to forfeit 10 hard-earned dollars to watch it. But on the whole, the only new movie I have seen is Willy Wonka, which was great! Johnny Depp is truly one of the greatest and versatile actors of our generation. Other than that, I have just been trying to catch up to the movies that I missed because I was too busy during the school year. Forget Bewitched, and just watch Will Ferrell in ANCHORMAN over and over again- I guarantee it will be worth it). And definitely check out Million Dollar Baby if you have not yet. Argueably the best movie of 2004.

![]() | Some of the movies that I have seen so far are "Million Dollar Baby", "Crash", "Sideways, "War of the Worlds", and "Constantine". I must say that from this list, three of the five movies were excellent. "Million Dollar Baby", "Crash", and "Sideways" are movies that you must see. They are the types of movies that are worth spending $10 to see. "War of the Worlds" and "Constantine" are nothing in comparison to these films. I did not like neither of these films. Do not waste your money on films like "War of the Worlds". Then again, this is only my opinion. |

| Enthusiast | @PosterGirl7... I liked Transporter too but I thought the movie went down hill after your favorite scene, "the oil scene," in my opinion...LOL...that was a little odd for me...and remember how he started jumping around from train to train and kicking ass like he was Spider Man or something...hahah, oh man... ![]()

Stopping one truck but not the other? and the typical white man winning the heart of a foreign girl. Come on. Transporter was like a retarded kid version of James Bond. Transporter 2 doesn't look any better either. A female hitman that stips to her underwear before shooting? Annoying kid that needs to be protected? Annoying techno rock music playing during the trailer? Next please. |

![]() | Hey - I never said that Transporter was a cinematic masterpiece or a technically- realistic gem. Sometimes you have to just appreciate movies because they are good jolly fun. And if I remember correctly, the foreign girl seduced Frank into joining her on the mission. And of course, when it comes to awesome action movies, nothing can top the Bond. The James Bond. Except if it's one starring Timothy Dalton - he didn't really work for me.

![]() | I took one of those random quizzes people post on Myspace recently, and found out that I'm a cinema whore. I disagree. If anything, I'm just your plain old-fashioned, run-of-the-mill whore. Movies I saw this summer (in the theater): Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith Mr. & Mrs. Smith Batman Begins Wedding Crashers |
