![]() | High on list for engineering employers My friends dad works for Agilent and said that Cal Poly SLO is on of their most preffered schools for prospective employees. I think its Poly's "hands on, learn by doing philosophy" means a lot. Its rated as one of the best undergraduate engineering schools. That RC helicopter project is a good example. It looks really neat, and I am really exited to get started there! I am only a junior level tranfer, so I have yet to do much of my core classes(for ME), but I think other schools have more on paper stuff and less hands on. I really don't know, anyone that could add some input? Also, I heard that the hands on aspect doesn't take away from the scientific theory, they are stong in both areas. |
