I'll KILL Spam!

CEO of Microsoft, Bill Gates gave a speech at World Economic forum, promising to kill all spams within two years.

Now that's a challenge we all like to see. Go Bill! I think I'll use my old avator.

http://news.independent.co.uk/digita...p?story=484787 and http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2004040451,00.html

Let's just hope there are no catch - such as, must purchase Microsoft software or must upgrade to the Longhorn operating system to use the feature.

I thought President Bush signed the Anti-Spam law this year. Shouldn't that stop all spammers?

That's what I thought but I still receive spams on my spam email account. But I did notice fewer spams on my inbox. Better than before.

I see a catch 22

Its going to be like, we can stop spam but the MS corporation/software needs to monitor all your email to do so.

In the internet, there isn't much privacy.
There are many online companies that provide small/medium/large companies anti-spam services. Likely, that the IT needs to monitor incoming/outgoing all emails.

I don't know what the whole complaint about.
I understand it would cost for companies when they are receiving dangerous emails that might contain virus and what not but I don't see any harm for personal use.
If I see spam, I don't open but immediatley delete it. But I have a separate email account for spams.

That's because you know about spam more than the ordinary computer users. Lot of people gets trapped and sucked into spam - that eventually steal their money or give them a virus.
I somehow knew a company, such as Microsoft will step up the plate and win the spam war, or attempt it.
