Wow, he regained control PRETTY darn well. I never knew that the CHP would act so aggressively on a car chase.

Insane. Now he will have enough time to think about it at jail...

great driving... looks like a V6 stang to me, though. probably would've put up a better fight if it was a GT.

The problem is I think that all normal mustangs have a governer set at around 108mph and police cruisers can get to about 145-150 depending on the HP that model puts out.

Ford Victoria outputs 224 horsepower at 4800 rpm. The Victoria that the policemen drives might be a lot more powerful.
Back to the subject, does that skills or was the driver just lucky? And thank goodness no innocent driver was killed on the runaway.

Wonder what he can do in a Pinto, or the car that Chevy Chase drives on a movie, I guess it was a station wagon.

Police cars have the same amount of horsepower/torque as regular Crown Victorias.

The "Police Interceptor" badge means upgraded anti-sway bars, tires, high-heat endurance brakes, and quite possibly strut bars.

I agree though. He's a good driver and might have given them a hard time if he had a GT.

yup, in addition to suspension stuff, police interceptors have things to help them endurance wise, such as a better cooling system.

It's not about power for them, it's about reliability and endurance.

A 300hp car can wig wag through traffic, but cops don't need that much power. They have strobes and sirens to clear the road
