Do you mean at the moment or basically?
At the moment it's perhapse 3, because I had to study the complete weekend and will have to study the next 5 weeks for my exams. In addition to that I didn't get all the work done I wanted.
Basically it's about 9, because during the last years I achieved everything I wanted.

Last year would have been around 6 because I wasn't reaching any goals, but I wasn't laid off either and had a wonderful person in my life. This year things are looking up thanks to a new job and I'm at a 9. I don't put 10 because there's always room for improvement. However overall, I'm content.

I'm so very happy. 8.5 (borderline to a 9) out of 10.

6. Its funny how we all want eternal happiness yet we are always left insatiated in this material world.

Well, materially I rent a leaky house. Ideally I would want to own a new house. But emotionally speaking I am at an all-time high. I would much rather be in love in a leaky house than lonely in a new house. But having to scramble for buckets during a rainstorm does tend to put a slight damper on your personal happiness.

6.5. I'm definately happier than last year even though I'm not around friends anymore. I'm in a better situation(job wise and living wise). Since I'm new to the area and have no real friends here, I guess I'm pretty miserable in that respect. Plus, I don't go to school...which makes it even harder to make new friends. But that's ok since I can keep myself pretty busy. All the people at work are older but friendly. If I can just go back to Sac and get a good job, I'll be even happier. There's that hope too which adds .5 to my happiness score.

Oh, I don't get to meet many girls so someone introduce me to some plz. My first, week here, I asked a girl who works in Walgreens for her number. She shows me her diamond. DOH.

David90, since you started this thread, I'd like to know where you stand.

Dont be discouraged! She was married big deal, plenty of other girls. Friends arent always everything. I think I could be just as happy without my friends. In fact I have very few friends at pomona. I am usually by myself mingling with people I dont know. I am not antisocial because I do mingle but it seems that the people i encounter come and go like the waves. Why dont you go to clubs or social events, your are bound to meet someone. If you just sit around and do nothing its inevitable that you will not meet people.
