 | got cited on Thrusday. I parked in the rideshare lot without a rideshare paper and got cited. I didn't they care since it's the first week of school. I parked in rideshare on monday, tuesday and wednesday and didn't get cited but got cited on thrusday all of the sudden. I bet a lot of students got cited for rideshare violation on Thrusday. I know rules are rules but its logical to think that u could park in rideshare on thrus since they let u park on m,t and wed. It's the first week. Parking services is stealing money from students. |

 | That doesn't make sense. The one week grace period for parking permits is solely so people can find time to go and buy one. What benefit is it to others to rideshare during the first week then? Try talking to the parking permit people, I rideshared for the first time on monday and got a flyer that had a weird note that said something to the order of "The coursty forgiveness of one parking cituation...." Just be nice, and explain the confusion you experienced. You'll have a hard time because there are signs up that say "Rideshare - Enforced". But good luck. |

| I know there are signs during fall, but they must have not had them out for summer. Yes, parking is "free" your first 8 days of the qtr, but Faculty/Staff, handicap, and rideshare stalls are ALWAYS regulated. No, they are not stealing money from students. You just lucked out those other three days. However, after 1PM, anyone can park in a rideshare stall. Hope this helps. Dont blame the parking people cuz you tried cheating the system! HA! |
