"The music company that owns the copyright to Woody Guthrie's 'This Land Is Your Land' threatened to sue the Internet humor site jibjab.com for parodying the song in a cartoon lampooning George W. Bush and John Kerry. The hugely popular spoof, in which the candidates trade insults like "liberal sissy" and "right-wing nut job," "puts a completely different spin on the song," said a lawyer for Ludlow Music.
