shouldnt I get some type of priority being that iam a junior and all??!?

there are like no classes to take.

Mine was today. Even though the website showed some open seats, I had to reschedule everything because I couldn't get in to two classes - one was closed, other cancelled.

I wanted to take classes between 10-5, but had to settle with 8:00 a.m. classes so I could get better instructors (or to avoid not-so-good ones). I still want to add another one; hopefully will get in during the late registration.

By the way:

Here's what it says in the Fall Class Schedule:

Registration Priority Policy
First Group: This group is fixed with no other groups considered: disabled students; athletes/non-paid trainers; and ASI officers.

Second Group: all new entering students (including freshmen and transfer) who attended Orientation.

Third Group all "near graduation" students (170 units completed).

Fourth Group: Students whose last three digits of their Student ID Number are from:

Fall 2003
(skip)

Winter 2003
First Priority within this (4th) group - 667-000
Second Priority within this group - 001-333
Third Priority within this group - 334-666
---

The priorities change each quarter, so depending on the last 3 digits of your student ID (SSN), you'll get first or second priority in Spring and Summer quarters

So, for Spring 04:
First Priority - 001-333,
Second 334-666,
Third 667-000

And Summer 04:
First - 334-666
Second - 667-000
Third - 001-333
----

I was very lucky to get an early registration appointment this quarter. phew~

I'm sure my registration appointment for spring 2004 quarter will be somewhere in the last place.

Why worry when you try to get in during the first week of the quarter. Very likely you will on the first, second, or third day.

i got terrible registration date but i still got MOST of the classes i wanted, becuz no 1 takes MFE and IME classes, hehe. xcept those who ive had b4 in other MFE and IME classes.

I had my reg date moved back a week too, dang it...

However, I wonder how I'm supposed to tell which prof. is good and which one is bad if I can't find this prof. in the eval forum, i.e. is there any other ways?
