Computer Science Majors

I was wondering, to any Computer Science Majors at Pomona, how is the Computer Science Department at Cal Poly Pomona and how are the teachers there? I am going to be transferring to Cal Poly Pomona, from a community college in San Diego, starting the Fall semester and I am a Computer Science Major. I was also wondering if there were many females that have a Computer Science Major in Cal Poly Pomona? (I wonder this because I am one out of two females in my c++ class this semester at the school I am at now, and I was one out of like three females in my java class during the summer)

That is what I thought. I also have noticed this in my math classes, but it is not as bad in them. I was hoping there would be a little bit more females, but I can live with having guys all around me. I just sometimes kinda feel like I am not supposed to be in the class, kinda out of place, although most of the guys in my computer classes are really friendly.

Hey Pinky! :-) Hey I have a question for you. I just got denied admission to Cal Poly SLO in the Com Sci major. Do you mind if I ask your GPA? I am hoping maybe I could try out Cal Poly Pomona, and I want to know if I have a chance.

She's applying for Pomona, which is way easier to get in.

I don't really know my exact gpa but it is abou 3.0ish maybe a little lower or maybe a little higher but not much lower or higher.
