Commuters: How far do you drive?

I was wondering how far everyone drives to get to school.

I've probably got one of the longest drives at about 60 miles each way from Victorville, CA. How about you?

25 miles from Downey...3 times a week so it's not too bad.

I used to go 5 times a week for 3 quarters (2002-2003 year). I put 36,000 miles on my car in a 1 year period... :O

I commute 50 miles roundtrip, three times a week.
Make it four times a week.

Good thing your car is gas efficient.

I wish it was! I get 20MPG tops!

Its a beat up Ford Windstar minivan, but I guess I can't complain too much considering I got it from my parents for free.

I don't drive much, plus I only have a Corolla, so my gas bill is like 40bux a month or less...

Twenty miles one way. I arrive to campus early so no traffic and less gas consumption.

Well, now, on top of my 55 mile journey (I measured, 60 miles was an estimate), I have to drive through all the fires! Fun!

Wish me luck!

Do you literally see the trees burning during your commute?
I think I heard the flame cross from one place to another, crossing the 118 highway(valley).
Good thing the highway patrol and the firefighters did not close the highway you were commuting in. Good luck.

I sure did!

Luckily I made it through today. We'll see how it goes on Wednesday...
