California Budget Cut

Our governor proposed a new budget cut that will affect both UC students and Cal State university students. If the California budget cut goes through, both of the universities will see an increase in tuition and rejection of all new students who applied for the spring and winter 2004 quarter (semester).

Why couldn't the governor keep the triple tax on new vehicle registration. We have too many cars on the highway already. Plus muscle cars and SUVs deserve high vehicle registration fees.

Think of the students who want an affordable higher education.

You mean the new govenor Arnold? If that is the case, let's recall this guy NOW. Apparently, California has been sadly fooled again! (See, Democrats AND Republicans ARE NO GOOD!)

Completely ridiculous. Next thing you know Cal state fees will be as high as previous UC fees!

I don't object to tuition increases ONCE a while (4-5), but not year after year!

What a coincidence.
Today's Poly Post article titled, "CSU Wants Budget Raise" confirmed that there will be an increase in our tuition very soon.
The govenor will submit the California budget plans on January 2004.

I apologize about the recall remark. I was upset when I read the news. It seems like every opportunity there is to cut the budget for college, someone takes it.

What are you apologizing for?
The California government should be apologizing.

The CA Gov't should be apologize. Better put some money BACK into school. Education doesn't stop at high school. Thanks, Kaycee.
