Burritos, about 10 years ago?

I graduated Cal Poly SLO in '92 (Physics). Many a night we studied to the tune of some great burritos. They had 2 or 3 different stores, but I can't remember the name of the place. Anyone remember the great burritos that you could get , around 1990-92? Are they still around? Mmmm, those were good

Maybe if you could describe some of the burritos a little someone might recognize the place. For example what was in it? Or what were some of their specialties? Did they offer beef tongue? Avocado burritos?

Back then, it was pretty much "Carne Asada Super Burrito", maybe a few chicken burritos, but the fad burritos hadn't really come about much yet.

I remember one location was downtown, the other was by the Safeway near CP. I can't even remember the street name anymore Although I lived on Luneta St. and it was within a few blocks walking distance...

I'm guessing they're not in business anymore, but that seems odd because they always had lines out the door...

There is a Burrito / Taco place near CPP, named Maria's Tacos. My friend once recommended that place to me, but I've since lost the directions. Does anyone know where Maria's Taco is located?

I believe it's on Valley. Take a left on Valley when you're on Temple. That's what my roommate said, I've never been there but it looks like they had pretty big burritos.
