I didn't do anything special. Got to play Morrowind a bit more, shopped for more professional outfits. My last job allowed me to wear anything I wanted, so I was usually dressed like a bum. I had like two outfits for interviews and that was it. Got some grocery shopping done. It was nice to have an extra day to finish everything AND still have time to relax.

Played a little bball, biked around. I'm getting in shape to hit the grade one of these days. And when I go back to Sac, I'm gonna whoop my buddies in basketball. Now that's motivation. Also some programming and FF3.

ZeoDragon: don't worry about it. I dress like a bum too. I did purchase a few shirts, pants, and a tie when I went for the interview. I rather they place less emphasis on how you dress but more on what you can do. I'm hopefully going on another interview soon. Yhay.

I didn't worry about clothes during the job hunt, the 2 suitable outfits I had were fine. But once I got hired at the new job the dress code was business casual, so I couldn't exactly wear the same two outfits every day. Can you imagine? Quite a funny thought. Now that I have a few more that I can mix and match, I'm all set. No more clothes shopping for me.

It was funny, this lady from the marketing department came over last week and was chatting about how she was afraid to wear the same pants within a two week time period. Here I was wondering what she would think if she knew I'd been wearing the same 3 pants all week. Heh, not that I'd care.

Dude, don't even bring up wearing the same thing. I got this guy(2 levels above me, not my supervisor but will be writing my probation report) who does not change cloths for a week. Uggghhh. One time he stunk so bad I gagged. I leave the room everytime he comes around. He's been here 31 years, and nobody's said a THING!!?? This guy laughed when I mentioned it cause he knew it but didn't want to say anything. You laugh cause you don't have to deal with it. ARRGGG.

Oh, good pants I got at Macys are Haggars. They stretch.

Oh ewwwww, a smelly supervisor? That is really tough to deal with. I've got more of a variety of clothes now, but I at least kept my clothes CLEAN when I only had a limited number of them.

Oooh pretty.... also pretty far! How long did it take to get there? And how is it different from Big Bear? My previous boss loves Mammoth and goes at least once a year.

The drive wasn't too bad. I think it took about 5 hours. It was totally worth it. The mountain is SO much bigger than Bear, Summit, or Mt. High. Not only that, they had tons of snow from this last storm. It was like boarding on lots of powder which is something you would rarely find down here in Southern California.

This picture was taken about a week and a half ago right after it rained for days down here. I don't think I would want to live in it, but it's fun to visit. That's my friends Tacoma truck & their house in the background. Imagine shoveling the snow out of the way to drive to work and what not....

I can well imagine all that shoveling just to extracate yourself from piles of snow. I definitely would not want to live in those conditions either! But visiting sure is fun.

Hey that looks like a beautiful place to visit and walk around! Especially the first pic and the one with the yellow 360M, looks like a seaport village kind of place. How would I get there from the 405? Very nice photos by the way.
