AWFUL smell on Kellogg Drive

I was going to my evening class today at around 5:45 PM, when I turned onto Kellogg from S. Campus Drive. As I was just past the entrance to the B lot (a little ways from the new residential suites) there was a HORRIBLE smell.

It smelled like mold, raw sewage, and human poop that's been sitting for a while. I have NEVER smelled anything so bad in my life. It was MUCH worse than when they "fertilize" the fields with manure.

Anyone else smell this disaster?

i dunno, but the slo campus smelled like horse manure the other day while it was pouring rain. it was either fertilizer or the dressage team had some fun in the rain. what a crappy day that was.

Yeah, periodically at Pomona they fertilize the fields with manure. However, this smell was different than manure, and much worse

Perhaps a sewage line broke? Manure smells aren't all that bad, especially when you encounter things that are ten times worse. Anyone ever see that CSI episode where they find a dead guy in a nylon sack, only the body had completely liquefied at that point? Apparently it even made some people barf even when they were already used to putrid decaying smells.

....And here I am eating lunch as I type this!
