![]() | Anyone Received a GMail Invitation? Google introduced their version of e-mail, known as "GMail." What Google did that "wowed" everyone was that they offer 1000MB (1 whole GB) of email space, absolutely free! Of course, Yahoo upgraded their free e-mail accounts up to 100mb and MSN will also boost up their email spaces. Great job Google. Google GMail is still in beta but people could sign up for an account if they receive an invitation from a buddy online.

![]() | Wow, there are alot on eBay. I would either wait until the Gmail is out of beta and open to the public or ask on other bulletin boards to send you an invitation. The only reason people are hurrying to get one is so they can reserve a GMail account in their preferred username.

![]() | I'll let you guys know if I get an invitation. BTW, you guys noticed the Automated Digital Photo Organizer Software that Google introduced today (link provided on the google homepage). Picasa. Everything you need to enjoy your digital photos in a single software product: * Auto-transfer photos from your digital camera. * Organize and find pictures in seconds. * Edit, print, and share photos with ease. * Create slideshows, order prints and more! Is free so it would be cool for those that takes digital photos.

| Active Member | Anybody want Gmail? If you haven't heard of Gmail, it's Google Mail. You get 1 Gb of inbox space, can send attachments up to 10 mbs, and other little nifty features like searching your inbox. I believe it's still in closed beta so the only way to join would be invites, although they've been handing out a lot of invites so it might go open any day now. But since it's in closed beta, it might be possible to get your desired username without having a bunch of garbage or numbers at the end. Anyways, I have 5 invites that I would to give away. First 5 people who reply to this post and leave their email will get an invite. |

| Fire-breather | I'm pretty happy with my Yahoo email and don't really need another email account. I've had this one for years. I can't imagine ever needing a whole gig of space for email. For attachments maybe, but the 10MB attachment limit seems to be standard, isn't it? Anyway, thanks for all the invitation offers guys!
