What car do you drive David? You can find specific car clubs via website.
But if you want a Cal Poly car club, I guess you can do that. But it will be difficult to create one unless you focus on one company (Honda, Ford, etc.) or genre (coupe, sedan, trucks, etc.) of a car.

I see many cars with their club stickers posted on their windshield. That tells me there are many clubs that already exist.
